if drake is on recovery i will be like :O, but at same time (for some reason) drake is biggg, so it can only boost publicity for recovery, like it needs boostin anymore lol,

anyway, i think lil wayne, cashis, will be on and 50 cent and dre will be on the same track, a kinda 3 headed monster track, and also obv a d12 track, and maybe a few that we wouldnt expect,

but seriously, i may be the only one, but i would like to hear a FRESH eminem ft elton john track, made from scratch, not just samples and him singin dido's hook, a new fresh track would be great, big fan of elton john, he could do a great hook for em in a story song

No one will ever match what Dre has done for hip hop.

The Chronic is the best produced hip hop album of all time and one of the best in general. Listening to it is like watching a movie as it gets you trough all kinds of emotions... Try listen to Let me ride and notice how many times the beat changes. All the beats connects with each other perfectly.

I read an interview with DJ Khalil the other day where he says that Dre is the Quincy Jones of hip hop. I agree with that completely.

In the time between The Chronic and 2001 tons of people said that Dre had lost it. It's that time again.

how do you think Em gets Boi1da beats?
i think the chances Drake has a verse are actually quite high

I think one Boi-1da beat will be an Em solo, and the other will be with both Drake and Wayne. If it's another "Forever" (though Kanye had the 2nd best verse there), I'm more than okay with that.

That can go both ways though, and it kind of worries me.

Hopefully it turns out nicely.

it will :coffee:

I hope not.

Dre's production holds Em back. With the type of beats he makes, you couldn't imagine Em doing much beyond what he does with them currently. Anything other than standard rap tracks.

Other producers like Kanye etc. Do epic things with beats / production and make tracks that have a real broad potential for theme and stature. Dre does the same shit everytime. With his little loops and gigantic drums, drowning out vocals and providing very standard, bland music IMO.

I think with these new producers, it'll give Em such fresh ideas and scopes, I'd imagine he really hit his stride and probably reached some new peaks with Recovery. Can't wait to hear it, hope Dre ain't on it.

Remember Eminem chose the the beats by Dr. Dre himself and not the other way around. Blaming Dre for Eminem's possible lack of creativity on Relapse just seems weird to me.

Always the same with gigantic drums and loops? Give some examples.

I'm one of the few who doesn't get tired of Dre on feats. So, when i saw this I thought it was confirmed already. But, everyone knows he'll be on it but you never know

People tend to forget that when you're working with other artists, you suit the production to their style.

On Detox the production is going to be exactly how Dre wants it himself and that makes it totally different.

Didn't say it wasn't creative... Well it wasn't I meant to say. People just complain about Dre when it was Em who chose the beats.

just look at the history of Em on Dre beats...it's almost exclusively slim shady songs aside from Encore, Say What You Say, and maybe Deja Vu

a low dosage of Dre is gonna keep slim shady caged up for Recovery

and thats no hate either, i liked Relapse...i just want something different this time
