well....first off....putting out silly songs to get attention..is in no way going to turn a fan against him...and make him lose that person as a fan....but it puts the song out in places meinem normally wouldnt be....giving him more "fans"


case and point...my mom....who is by no stretch of the imagination an eminem fan...she hates him (all because back when SSLP came out my sister shannon got the CD my mo heard it....hated him since)

when im in the car iwth her i put on my music...and i noticed the songs she likes...

i imagine a lot of people who dont like eminem like the stupid songs....which sells CDs....sooo making him come out with a song only the fans would like...
say yellow brick road was a single....we would all be happy...ok not a poppy crap song w/e.....but only we would like it...it wouldnt get much airplay...and it wouldnt be successful....

Why's that funny? That's the commercial songs that sell the album to the casual fan, so people who dont like Em have a good chance of liking those records becuase there not aimed at Eminem fans in particular.
