I know Marshall went in a fresh direction with Recovery, but

Postby forgot_about_matt » Apr 17th, '10, 20:38

does anyone else hope "Insult to Injury" is on the album? That sounded like it was going to be amazing, and it would be a real shame to never hear it. I mean, we already know it's an angry track in his normal voice, with a presumably sick beat from The Alchemist.

No, I hope it was bested.

That's true. It could still be a bonus track, though. Maybe he could do like he did with Encore and give us three more scrapped R2 tracks, or better still, the entire scrapped album.

I don't think it will be on the album, because Alc wasn't mentioned in the production line-up.

I don't, it's probably like Underground, song filled with random lines and no direction.

I'm pretty sure Alc never said he produced it anyway. He was just the one to mention it so people assumed he had produced it. But he said recently that he didn't get a track on... Well, what was still R2. So, not too recently, but still. Means he couldn't of produced that, he said they didn't click yet.

I hope it's given as a bonus track. If it's anything like his insanely good Westwood verse I wanna hear it though. The transaction from Relapse to that so soon was amazing. The flow, the wordplay... Aw man, he was like a robot. I hope he has some material like that on Recovery.

He should just leak it before his album drops. I'd like to hear it but I don't want anything that was recoded around Relpase to be on Recovery.

I'm not worried about all those rumoured tracks, I just want to hear a good album.

The album will be good, even without "insult to injury" is in it. And I think this song is not going to Recovery.

I'm sure that would have been on the original Relapse 2 that was due to be released at the end of last year but obviously it got scrapped and Em didnt think it good enough or didnt want it on Refill.

I hope Recovery has a bonus disc with a few Relapse 2 songs.

I think if Em liked the song enough, there's a chance he rerecorded it without an accent or w/e so that it fits the album. That's only if he really wanted us to have it
