probably. i love the "in your face" style of those verses but i guess if you don't like self boasting tracks, you probably weren't feelin it

I will give it a 7. I mean, it was good. But Eminem has made some really amazing songs. To put it up against some the songs off the MMLP is a little crazy. When he said
"Pretend he even had a friend to say was his friend
And it wasn’t time to move in school no changing again
He wasn’t socially awakard and just strange as a kid
He had a father and his mother wasn’t crazy as shit"

I thought that was really intense. And if he can match that kind of word play and passion on Recovery I will be happy.

Yeah i really enjoyed it. Eminem has hinted at greatness here and there since his return. I just wonder if he can do it consistantly like he did with the SSLP,MMLP and Eminem Show. Time will tell.

His new album is a kind of make or break for me. Encore was horrible and Relapse left something to be desired. So he will either make one of the best comebacks in music ever with the album or really hurt his career.

I'd give it an 8/10 simply cause of content and delivery, the track was never meant to be lyrical so I don't even consider that as a parameter. Flow was ookkaay, worked well with the track, not sure if he'd ever use it again

Relapse was pretty tight Coleon. Encore/D12 World is the only time i actually wasn't digging what Eminem was putting since way back in the day of the My Name Is video. Fuck i'm old lol

I mean Relapse was OK. I was just saying compared to the SSLP it was shitty. It was OK for a guy that was sitting around in Detroit doing drugs and feeling sorry for himself for five years. I still listen to some songs off of it.


And I could never write even eminem's worst song. But....that's why he makes millions.

Relapse is an amazing album. I listen to it all the time. Put on "My Darling" and "Elevator" instead of "We Made You" and "Old Time's Sake" and you've got a masterpiece of straight fire.
