Dude...movies about disasters are always cliche. Thats like a fact. And you need to watch a movie of that genre while havin that on your mind.

Yeah I just checked the reviews, they're not too happy about it either. Well I haven't met too many people who've liked it due to it being a boring film full of the most annoying of cliches. It might be a disaster film and yes it's true, cliches are needed, but at least you could make it a little bit more original.

EDIT: The special effects were worth watching the film but it got too long.

Yeah, all the critics are reliable. Sandra Bullock gets voted as the worst actress of the year, and couple days after she gets an Academy award for the best actress.

Im watchin the movies for my own satisfaction. Fuck reviews and critics. Slumdog Millionaire was...below average IMO, and no critic can convince me otherwise. But to each his own.

I agree, I've been looking into reviews more often lately just to really see if it coincides with my thoughts. I also thought Slumdog Millionaire wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be, it was original though.
