Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Solar wrote Guru's "Deathbed Letter". Besides the fact that Guru was in a coma, the whole letter reeks of falsehood. Why would Guru continue his falling out with Premo all the way to death, for instance? Usually, that's when forgiveness happens. The whole letter also seems to be a tribute to Solar...which is suspect.

Solar's actions in this whole situation are sketchy at best.

Guru was partly brainwashed by Solar, according to some relative Solar is very convincing and persuasive. He would not give Guru creative freedom and even social freedom. All of this is according to various sources but he is a dodgy guy, all those statements written by Guru were all from him. It's like he controlled his life.
