actually music associated websites keep a pretty close eyes on him, like they made news about his every tweets. But thing is he don't give them anything to write news about. Calling his radio station talking about the album status will definitely make news on music websites, plus more information will get people more hyped, like right now if not for the producers talking about Recovery, maybe we still don't even know anything about it.

and 'promo don't mean shit' is not true. if the song is good but they don't market it then how can people know about it to listen to it? and if people don't know about it they can't request it on the radio -> no radio play = flop. It could go high based on sale alone but that only last for a short time, if he wants a consistent position on BB he needs casual listeners buy the song too, not just his fans.

so i think em 1st single will be a hit
he just needs to make it radio friendly and it will be fine
any em single officially released to radio will get alot of spins and adds off his name alone
if it gets a good response it will keep gettin increased in spins
