yes it was the Em's song people heard after a long time, that's the main reason (Dre or 50 doesn't add a bit success btw), but I think CAB was more catchy than WMY, if they pushed it right like done a video while the song was still relevant it would be more successful. Regardless why, it's still the most successful single of Relapse.

that actually makes sense, em always makes companion pieces with his albums, sslp + mmlp, eminem show + encore, relapse + recovery, they changed the name but theyre still keeping that theme going

except Relapse was a failure, why would anyone wanna make a failure's sequel? sslp + mmlp has same producers (bass bros, Dre), tes + encore has the same producers (em, dre..), relapse & recovery NOT. That alone should totally separate the two.
