People, i said it wont be a DIRECT sequel....cuz i kno EM said it wasnt.....but its more of a SPIRITUAL successor....

also...encore was VERY different in tone and in content from eminem show...the only track that had some what the same vibe as the eminem show was Never Enough in my opinion...

but like i said....some may disagree...and thats ok....this forum is meant for discussion like this so its all good

but i think Recovery will have tracks about his drug problem and him relapsing...but they will be shown in a different light.....in a more "emotional" way instead of him just spazzin' out...and because of the new producers he has reached out to...it will have a whole different "feel" then anything he's ever done before....but still....its a successor....the title Recovery even goes hand in hand with Relapse

It's a sequel in a career sense and Em always keeps a chronological thread through his albums.

But it's not a direct sequel in any true artistic sense at all and the music will be totally different. As could everything else about it. It is NOT a sequel.

The music on recovery might be a lot different from relapse, but it's pretty much the closing of Relapse and how he is in "recovery" from the drugs. The op wasn"t talking about a sequel in the sense of the same material, but in the sense of the titles linking with each other. You that dumb?
