Why is the first single being released so early?

Im not complaining at all, im lovin it but i dont get it. The first single for relapse came out and just over a month later the album came out. so it was like half a month til the leak.

But for recovery there's still nearly two months

either they're preparing for a total smash that have longevity or they're preparing for a flop so they have enough time to put out another single before the album

For marketing, early single will make people PREPARE to buy the album. sorta like, making them KNOW that recovery is coming. so it's like, the time between not afraid and recovery album is for promoting.

sorta like, big budget for promotion.

It's not being released untill mid-may so it will only be a month before the album drops.

It's just being premiered on the 30th but not actually added to radio playlists till 11th of may. So, works out right.
