Actually, you're right & wrong...

At first when TES dropped critics & fans disliked TES... Cuz it simply wasn't as good or better than the MMLP. (Even far enough to say Em had fallin off, shocking right?)

It took a few years before people realised the album was a near classic. But hay, some of you guys are too young to remember that.

TES was the album that made Eminem huge other places. At least here in Norway. It's because of TES Hip-Hop opened up more here, and he got more famous. Without Me was the single that I heard first by Eminem and so did every kid around me.

Because TES introduced my to Eminem, I am not sure whether I'd been into him now if TES was never made. Also, in my top 5 I have Cleaning Out My Closet and Sing For The Moment, and they are very special song to me, and therefore I doubt I would have Eminem as 1st in my list.

Even if you were just average on the outside (but not fat) I could like you if you sounded smart.

I'd still respect him as much as I do now, but probably wouldn't think he is as good musically if he hadnt made TES. Becuase that album is as close to perfection as you're guna get

I know, but he got much more known known after TES (Without Me).
At least that's what I noticed. After Without Me he was everywhere. In everyone's mouth.

I think it's because you started to take notice at that time. Em was insanly big in '01, after MMLP was released. Everybody was talking about him everywhere, but of course, he got even bigger after TES.

Without TES everyone would believe that Eminem fell off after MMLP and can never come up again just how most artists fall after their peak once and for all. But 2 great albums in a row kind of shows he's awesome... So i think Eminem would have been a lot less popular today without TES.

wtf are you talking about? He had three really great albums in a row. If Em didn't make TES he would never have become a superduperstar, and maybe preventet his downfall...

Em is average at best without The Eminem Show.

Yeah I'd still have huge respect for him, I don't rate TES as highly as most do on here, SSLP made him a legend, and MMLP confirmed it, for me at least
