The only thing going through my head when i heard the song was EMINEM IS MOTHERFUCKING BACK. I'm not just saying that because that's what's i want to hear, i really think that. With relapse i tried to convince myself the album was good but it really wasn't. This song is fucking IMPRESSIVE. Oh yea i didn't cry that's faggot shit but i did get a chill down my spine (in a good way if that's possible).

anyone feel like he made this song just to try to please his critics. I loved Relapse and the accent. Now a lot of the professional critics are bashing it. The fans love it, but still the major reviewers down play it.

This is the brilliant shit i love about Eminem. And yea that line is just so awesome it really is. It like a triple-double meaning line lol. Then he talks about raising the bar like literally and then raising the quota. "It'll never be my chair that your on
crown so tight that it cuts off circulation to the brain no oxygen
otherwords there's no heir to the throne" - Awesome line you can figure it out. Then theres the cock-block square male chicken that i thought was cool.

am i the only one who really didn't like it?... i think the hook/bridge is waaaay too much corny, i mean beautiful was corny too but there wasnt such a "gospel high pitch voice" :( "This sounds like some lost verses from ‘We Are The World 2010.’" then and i don't want him to apologize for relapse... this album was great... it really feels like "ok critics want that, then imma do that"... no more "i dont give a fuck"

i would've been disappointed with a "WMY Part 2" too but yeah this wasn't exactly what i wanted to hear either, but he cant match everybody's minds i think ;) i hoped for something like business or similar

then hands down this will do great on radio i think and this is what it is hopefully made for... i hope he did this song _only_ for the radio :O

then yea... the beat is really boring... i don't know what attracted him so much on it... the drums are just :zipped: :zipped: :zipped:

indeed the verses are great but that's about it :\

I know that's your opinion and i can't tell you your wrong obviously but i really disagree. The bridge was kinda cool, maybe a lil corny but it's not the rap so who cares. Rap was amazing, who cares about beats. I don;t know how you see this as boring, i've literally listened to the song for the past 3 hours and i'm still lovin it. Yea i'll get sick of it eventually but w/e. Also i disagree, relapse wasn't on the same caliber as this song. One of the main reason i say that is because relapse had meaningless lyrics. Not Afraid goes back to his clever little verses that you have to take a second to think about, i know we all love those.

Nice lyrics, catchy chorus, average beat.

My reaction was, the hook is pretty good, catchy and different, but Em's singing on the hook is kinda off imo
The beat for me, is perfect, great beat that fits the mood of the track perfectly, but the real thing that caught my attention was the actual verses, witty, honest, delivered brilliantly, this is the Em I've being craving to hear :worship:

I don't see how any fan of Em will be disappointed in this, which is the main thing as this a song for his fans
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

I hate to say, but the chorus and bridge were very ehhhhhh. Like, It is just extremely odd. The verses are super badass but idk it sounds like we are the world to me. Blah. But there lyrics are badass and thats all I'm concerned about because i know not all the songs on recovery will have the same chorus but most of the songs will be on the same lyrical level.

Ehh i kinda agree which is totally fine. Music and all that are great but i really just care about the rap. And for that im 110% satisfied and very impressed with what he has delivered.
