Ok, so the story goes as follows: Eminem released his new single “Not Afraid” today which was produced by the Toronto native, Boi-1da. But, what we didnt know was the beat actually belonged to Maino first.
The cut was supposed to be one of Maino’s singles from his sophomore project The Day After Tomorrow but was given to Eminem without Team Maino being informed. Fucked up aint it?
How in the hell did Maino’s beat end up in Em’s hands? Well apparently Boi-1da’s manager is the VP of Interscope. Not saying Boi-1da purposely gave away the beat, but something aint right about this situation. Hmmmm.

kinda weird....
Not Afraid is a great song, but tbh the beat isn't great. Too bad Em tears up the mic enough to not even really notice ! Eminem sounds great these days .

alchemist did something VERY similar to this not too long ago
first-he sold slaughterhouse the "microphone" beat...they put it on their album....
before the album was released and anyone heard the song...eminem was "freestyling" and tim westwood show....and alchemist threw on THAT beat....
not that big of a deal..but if i was in slaughterhouse..id be pissed...cuz before anyone heard their version..eminem already murdered that beat..on a throwaway freestyle....
