amateur beat

Postby M-Pyre » Apr 30th, '10, 12:01

first off, it's a dope song and I love it!

fucking sick wordplay and punchlines and a flow to break a reinforced dam with!

but man this beat is crap!!

fuck these fucking over used 808 drums and this cheesy ass synth or string in the background. and fuck this snare pattern cause it's causing me to have a migrain.

fuck you boi1da

ja, en moet je je nu maar eens voorstellen hoe het zou zijn geweest als eminem het zelf had geproduceerd!

stel je voor dit liedje had een beat zoals toy soldiers, had een klassieker kunnen zijn.

Seriously, Hip-Hop needs to go back how it was supposed to be, simple beat with story telling, meaningful lyrics and crazy rhymes.

I'm glad with the beat.

I don't care about it being simple. Most good hip hop beats are very simple. It's just that it sounds like shit and reminds me of a hip-pop autotuned song which makes me slightly sick.
"Hyperwarp to Automator's crib and light the torch

Victory is ours once we strike the source
Enterprising wise men look to the horizon
Thinking more capitalism is the wisdom
and imprison all citizens, empower with rhythm
We keep the funk alive by talking with idioms"

It was subtle enough to let people concentrate on Ems verses which i don't think WMY did.
Whilst it was unique enough with the sick piano bit to make a recognisable beat.

I think it was sick. Just because it hasn't got a completely new melody or theme or something, people think it's easy to do. It would've took him fuckin' ages to layer all those different sounds, and to make it nicely flow with Em.
