Skeptical about Recovery

Is anyone skeptical about Recovery? I know a single doesnt indicate how must of the album will be, especially EM, but do u think he's tryin to be somethin hes not. I like 'Not Afraid', but theres something missing it feels like. I probably will get some shit for this, but 'Without Me' might be better than 'Not Afraid'. The production on 'Not Afraid' is jus so damn stale. In fact, Maino made a song out of it called 'Survival of the Fittest'. of course its no where near as good as 'Not Afraid' but u think boi-1da gave EM a throw away beat.

I know exactlty what you meant. NA was a big dissappintment but as people have said it sounds as if it was rushed and made right near the end of the production of Recovery, espeically as Jim Jonsin said he'd have the single. It sounds rushed too.

He's also said Recovery has plenty of different styles and a dark song by Havoc so it sounds as if it will be a variety of tracks.

NA, like Beautiful, sounded like something he didnt wanna make and sounded forced. I hope Ry wont.

WOW. When I heard Not Afraid my first reaction was "Geez, that sound like some generic Maino shit"...and turns out it was!!

That's my EXACT problem with the song, it's just too generic. It's like the same type of song most rappers put out but just way better, still a generic song.

If recovery is anything like Not afraid, it will rank lower in my books than encore.

You can like an artist, you can like an artist a lot, but you gotta admit when they make some garbage ass shit.

Alls Not Afraid did for me was ruin the hype for this album, I dont really give a shit about this album anymore. Not afraid wasnt eminem. It was this other person...and I dont like him. His music sucks.

What if Boi-1da gave em the 'Over' beat and Drake never used it. The way he raps on that despicable flow, whewwww now that would be a single. think what he could do to that whole song. I think they would change the Chorus beat tho

The majority do like this song, and trying to say that people are brain washed is just stupid. I like this song because it's something new and its not another CAB or WMY.
