eminem fans will still be eminem fans, this song has a chance of putting him right back in the mainstream with pop listeners so i think it was a good idea

That's true too, but at least we have artistic taste.

Why would you let other people influence your reception of the song?

We made you was awful, Not afraid is solid. (I'm glad I wasn't a member here when WMY dropped)

Releasing that rapid fire lyrical barrage freestyle the day before was such a smart move... anyone who dislikes this softer less controversial/commercial side of Em can refer back to that freestyle and still be hyped for Recovery.

*Emotional single comes out, Em says no more accent in the lyrics*

What the hell Em?! This single is horrible and doesn't sound like traditional Eminem at all!!! Image

Recovery will suck!

____

Oh you guys. :flutter:

He can't win.

Alright, I really liked the track first time... then felt Skeptical over lines in the first verse & the bridge. BUT HAY, he says in the last verse one of main/if not main reasons that he wanted to get clean was for his fans.

How can you hate on that?

Are you fuckin kidding me dude? Artistic taste?

Just because you can play a guitar well doesnt mean you have artistic taste.

Tpain can play the keyboard well and put together some nice beats...But im sure you wouldnt say HE has artistic taste.

Your so bias its ridiculous.

There is nothing artistic with plucking guitar strings and screaming into a microphone about brutal shit and with pictures of demons and shit on your album cover

I think people are under the impression that every piece of media is art. And its not. I can photoshop...im not an artist.

I've recorded some guitar riffs and some raps before...im still not an artist.

Just because somebody makes some music, or an album...doesnt mean its art. It means its music.

If the "majority" of hip hop is not "artistic" and its fans are "stupid" than the same can be said about death metal.

And, why arent you arguing hip hop being artist but you are arguing death metal being artistic with me. Dont jump into the argument. Im only interested in what GGGG has to say.

I dont get it. I just dont get it.

When did you people first get into eminem? Eminem show or something...Encore?

I think if anyone has been a fan of eminem since he came out with SSLP and Forgot about dre...they should be disappointed in this song.

Anyways, I should just stop arguing my point. Im fuckin baffled at the fact people like this shit.

Which is what it is...shit.

Relax, it's only one song.
I bet Em only made it the first single because of the promise he made to the fans in it. He wanted that to be heard first.
Now that that's out of the way, let's wait and see what he does next.
Believe me, with his array of producers, no two songs will sound the same.
