the way I took NA was like this..


first you get dispicable right before the single, so my thoughts were... if this is just a freestyle and it's THIS good, how fucking great will the single be once it comes out!

I was dissapointed to be frank. at first I was denying the fact that the song wasn't THAT great, but the beat was just a straight thorn in my eye, so that threw me off.

No I'm not skeptical. With the words of Mr. Porter, his description of the album and the "Despicable" freestyle, I have high hopes.

His emotional tracks are always somewhat watered down or simplified in lyricism. He's sacrificing skill for content. Yes the production was crap on "Not Afraid" but that's Boi-1da for you. He only has one more song on the album anyway thank goodness.

But aside from that, the lyricism is on-point, flow is pretty nice and the chorus is great. But like you said, 1st single is no indication with Em. Album could be ANYTHING and Em said it's a range of moods.

it's only US & UK that matters really. If it went #1 in other countries too, then yay! that's good, but no one really cares.
