It seems like one of the things that has just been swept under the rug because everyone is so happy he's back, but look at it this way.. If you're trying to quit smoking, and every day you are at work you think about how you quit smoking or smoking in general, it probably is a lot easier to go back to smoking rather than just completely forgetting about it. I know personally if I want to quit something that I just don't want to do anymore for various reasons, not even addiction wise, I don't want to talk or hear about it and I'd say a lot of people are like that. however, eminem isn't a lot of people but anyways the question is simple:
Do you think eminem will 'relapse' ?
The reason this sprung to my mind was listening to Not Afraid. It's interesting that he says
"And to the fans, I’ll never let you down again, I’m back
I promise to never go back on that promise, in fact"
and then in the same verse he goes to say
"But I think I’m still tryna figure this crap out
Thought I had it mapped out but I guess I didn’t
This f-cking black cloud’s still follow’s me around"
I might be overthinking but let me know what you guys think.
