It was a good album for the hardcore fans who didn't mind the arabian/indian accent. He wasn't being Eminem or even Slim Shady on that album. Plus he wasn't even in character of a serial killer through the whole album which made it seem like a mixtape to me.

I think that if it had come out in place of the SSLP it would have done better. People are more interested in the serious Em these days than the crazy Slim. Which is kind of funny. A lot of peoples argument on why eminem sucks is he became too poppy and emo and needed to go back to talking about crazy shit. He does and no one likes it. The accent wasn't good, but it wasn't that bad. Every Eminem album he has a different vocal sound.

No I am saying that Relapse and the SSLP are kind of the same in a way. That if Relapse would have came out in 99 people would have liked it better. But since they have heard serious deep eminem, that's all people want to hear these days.
