Eminem referencing "food network" shows in despicable

I was listening to it and it just kinda hit me...prob a pointless thread, but I like when I catch stuff like this that most prob. Didn't.

Idk maybe I'm reaching..but w/e I've seen wayyyyy stupider threads here..so don't bitch...

Also that kinda makes the throw down line make more sense to me..at first I was like "hit your mom with my omelet..wtf?"

I caught the hells kitchen reference- I wouldn't know about the rest since I am in Australia :wave:

Who knows- maybe now he has lost all the so called weight his food addiction has evolved into other parameters and is now influencing his music!!

I doubt it. There's no resonance in referring to obscure network TV shows. I get what you're saying, implying it's just clever linkage but I think that's just coincidence.

I think he said throw down in the kitchen simply to get to the omlet line so he could then get to the "you got egg on your face" line. The hell's kitchen line is just a play on an old expression "If you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen", so he's obviously playing that up saying "Hell's Kitchen", also a... Well, you probably know all this anyway.

But, maybe. He apparently watched a lot of Cable lmao. But I doubt it.

i know he cooks so maybe he does watch them lol. who knows plus hells kitchen is a popular show. i caught that too and thought it was funny. but throw down he could of just used that word but who knows.
