lol Everytime artists do something new they lose old fans and gain new fans, that's not news worthy. Bunch of people said he went pop & soft after MMLP too and look at how sucessful TES was. If Recovery's all like Not Afraid, he'd gain as many fans as he loses. His hip-hop credibility, however, would go down the drain and his legacy would be tarnished.

hmm you guys could be right... he could've meant R2 but i think he meant R1 because of the following line: "perhaps i ran them accents into the ground" because "everyone" hated this on R1 :O and the following line proves it for me, because there he says "Relax, I ain't going back to that now"... going back to "THAT" now... in my eyes he can only refer to R1 there because we only heard those accents he had on this album, not on R2

last but not least... he says "RELAPSE CD" ... R2 never got to a "full cd" status... :O

IMO the word "last" is just there for rhyming patterns

I can't speak for everyone but the beat, hook and bridge ruin it for me. The lyrics in the hook and bridge are too corny for my liking and the melody does nothing for me. It all comes down to personal taste though.
