i personally agree with him that relapse was Ehhh cuz thats how i felt after listening to it the first time,its true it started growing on me...but still the accent ruined everything for me,also the content with his christopher reeve and gay rapes and murder shit,nothing was intresting to hear except for 2 songs maybe deja vu and Beautiful and some other songs,
so its true that the lyrics were insane with multies and all those stuffs were crazy but they didnt mean anything if they dont have a message,so in other words relapse's subject matter was not Good,the accent was lame at first when i heard it i felt like damn this aint the em i wanna hear,
and that is why
i consider relapse was ehhh and i definetly agree with em,also im glad that he dropped the accent..but i still dont understand why people are saying "oh why did em say relapse was eh man that album was great "or whatever...they just need to be realistic,ok you will tell me its a matter of personal preferences or opinion or whatever...but i think we all should agree relapse wasnt one of his best albums

No not at all. Feels like he's pandering to the majority view with it and either way, I don't agree. It could of been better had he committed 100% to the conceptual aspect, left out the personal stuff (Especially "Beautiful") - Saved those for the bonus and the album would of run through much nicer. But I love almost every song. And I definitely don't agree it would of been better without the accent(SSSSSSSSSSS - Way more than one).

Those accent variables are what make the album sound so unique. To people saying it's like an album of "Ass Like That" - I don't know what the fuck you're hearing. The flows are magnetic, the rhyming it electric and the accent variables only add to his skill with sound.

What's even more annoying is thinking how great the original R2 would of been though. No doubt he's come up with something better with Recovery, but he still could of put R2 out as it was obviously the best material from the 'relapse sessions'. And then put Recovery out too. So if you think Relapse was good, we only got to hear the weaker of the two.
