This is because Em grew up in ghetto Detroit and Kanye went to University / College and hung out around art students lmao. Different world, different mind. Also, it's not like Kanye creates every piece of imagery you see put out. He has a lot of help and a lot of his visual flair is made sure of almost entirely by other people lmao. He pays Japenese designers and shit.
Also, as an artist? I think not. Has Kanye created anything as haunting, monumental or artistic as "97' Bonnie and Clyde", "Stan", "Kim". As ironic, subversive and substantial as The Marshall Mathers LP? As politically rampant as "White America" or "Square Dance". Has he given social commentary as eloquently as "Sing for the Moment".
Kanye gives off the impression of being more artistic because he's into fashion. He's also a superb producer. But as an artist, creatively... In his music... He may create more visionary sounds and 'bigger' songs sometimes but he's not on Em's level as an artist. Eminem will go down as one of the most talked about geniuses ever. Kanye will be remembered, but not on his level.
