How people find Not Afraid boring is beyond me guess you can never please Em stans, in the start of Not Afraid you can actually feel the energy that Em has right know, while Beautiful was lacking energy, it was just a song trying to be emotional and not to say lacking energy and clever lines.

Agreed but that's not necessarily a good thing. If the melody's enjoyable, then for sure. It's the ultimate treat. But if the melody's annoying (like Not Afraid's is for me) then it can really drive you insane.

This. I fell in love with Beautiful when I first heard it, mostly because I relate to it almost word for word. Not Afraid's verses are better, but Beautiful is much more meaningful and is just a better song in my opinion
