What do you want the majority of Recovery to sound like?

He already said that the album is a complete mixture of themes/beats. Much like the Eminem show. :y:

However, knowing the fans reaction to Relapse, I believe most songs will have a more aggressive tone.

Something new, something we haven't heard before. If I want the Eminem Show, I'll put in TES. Same goes for MMLP and the SSLP. This is basically his first album being clean (If you're one of the people that think he was still in a fog doing Relapse), so I want something we haven't heard before. Just Blaze + Eminem=Epic-ness

I personally want to hear something new, but i also don't want it to sound like the direction Not Afraid goes in; i cannot stand this popular string of modern rap, and part of the reason i like Em so much is cause even when Relapse came out it was still pretty old-style. If it's an album full of those damn beats and autotune then i will hate it more than Relapse undeniably.

My favourite album was The Eminem Show though, so if he could make something similiar to that but that wasn't a carbon copy, i'm sure i'd almost certainly lap it up.

Also i'm with you guys about Say Goodbye Hollywood being my favourite Em track (tied with Stimulate which was also for TES)

Well obviously I want a new Eminem like you said. That's why he's exciting.

But if I had to draw on past material to make a hypothetical sound then I suppose I'd want The Marshall Mathers LP meets The Eminem Show. MMLP 1.5 if you will.

All of the social commentary and ironical genius of MMLP with the musical and lyrical prowess, consciousness and character of TES.

I wantito to sound different, but I want it, as a whole, to lean towards the The Eminem Show as far as lyrical style and production goes. But I want some songs to sound like Despicable, that shit's dope as fuck, I hope Not Afraid is the only song on the album that sounds like that (like Not Afraid)

i honestly hope it doesn't sound like anything he's ever done before, and i have my fingers crossed for whatever it is, that it be fucking dope. just put on my headphones, pop in the disk and be taken somewhere...
