Yeah but I doubt he did work really hard on it.

When he's done three previous albums of gangsta cliche' and booty tracks, coming with the exact same thing ain't working hard.

He's a pretty intelligent guy outside of his music so if he had obviously put his soul in artistically, strained his thought processes, come up with real, striking originality and then it bombed - Maybe I'd agree with you. But what did we get. Not just more of the same but more of the same done worse.

He quite obviously doesn't try hard. He's lazy as fuck, just brags about money, fame and wealth and starts pointless beefs.

i was going by his interviews, but then for 50, working hard is spending 10 % of his time on music

That was funny. Obviously he was being ironic though but still irritates me that he's equating downloading digital files to stealing produce.

It's the not the same thing at all and when I see it at the start of DVDs, the old "YOU WOULDN'T STEAL A HAND BAG... DON'T STEAL A MOVIE" just trying to oversimplify it so grossly it fucking pisses me off and it's hilariously ridiculous.

"YOU WOULDN'T RAPE A CHILD... DON'T DOWNLOAD MP3S!".

Reason it isn't the same is because if you go into a shop and steal a physical DVD you're doing the following...
- You're taking money out of that shop's pocket.
- You're taking money out of the distributor's pocket.
- You're physically removing an economical crum off the plate.

Where as if you download a file, you're not doing either of those things. Because who's to say you would of gone to the fucking theatre and watched the movie or HMV and bought the CD. If I couldn't do it this way, I probably wouldn't bother. So you're not actually physically removing a crum there. A file is a carbon copy, you're not taking money out of anybody's pocket, it's distributed free and you take it for free. All you're doing is NOT going out and buying it which you may not have done ANYWAY.

Totally different kettle of fish.

i think music piracy is actually a good thing tbh

ya it takes sales away for major artists like 50 cent but who gives a fuck anyways. why buy his half assed, major record label shit with one or two good songs?

then downloading music helps the underground/independant artists get their shit out and build a fan base. if they are putting out good music their fans will buy it, im 100% sure

Absolutely. They're just gonna have to accept people will only buy quality now.

I can get any piece of media I want for free. But I still own all of Eminem's discography on physical form and I'll always buy CDs that I feel are quality and worth owning for the whole experience.

As if I'm gonna go out and buy BISD, pay money for that. When I can write better rhymes myself, give me a fucking break. It'll force artists to work harder for their $$$ again and push the quality of music up because the record labels can no longer hop from trend to trend anywhere near as easily and just get automatic sales.

50 is actually a pretty intelligent dude I don't know if you've ever heard or seen an interview with him. I'm more surprised if he said that it wasn't an issue because it clearly is. I agree with everything he's saying now and yeah his album didn't sell great but 150'000 or w/e it sold isn't done very often nowadays.

Yes I have seen almost every interview he's done. Don't know if you read my first responses but I already said he's intelligent outside of his music. Well, reasonably. He doesn't have true self-awareness though. And no it's not an issue. It's an evolution. Work with it and innovate or fail fail fail.

Every music artist feels the same way so why do u single out 50?
Do u only have hate for him in particular?

Well no not every music artist does feel the same. I think it's a bit presumptious to speak for 'every' other music artist based on the opinion of a few. We don't know what the majority feel.

And I singled out 50 because he recently made this comment, it's news and it's 100% contradictory to what he said previous.

What's funny is, before BISD came out, he was saying how it doesn't really matter - How that with the Internet etc. it just means people can hear the material until they buy it and all this. Totally 'on the side' of piracy if you will, then just because BISD bombed he jumped fence immediately lmfao.

LOL he just saw his check and was like.. oh shit son... STOP PIRACY

Well you sound like a douche for even using the word douche. Douche is a douche word to use. And now you've made me use it four times. But in the interest of full disclosure, there's many better ways to insult me than that cheeseball word.

For example, if I wanted to insult you now in response I would perhaps call you a completely moronic cunt. Yeah, that works. Don't randomly insult me, I didn't bring insults into it. Just because I don't agree with you on 50 Cent. Fucking retard.
