That was yesterday in Eastern US time. So when they said the announcement would come tommorow, they said that yesterday and it's now today.

And what's come out today? News that "Not Afraid" will enter the billboard chart at #1. 16th song in history to do it and Em's 3rd US #1. Sounds like a pretty big HIT to me. I don't think it could be anymore obvious, people expecting something else I think are wishful.

By that I’m guessing unless Paul Rosenberg knew this would happen (4 days before it actually did) I'll respectfully disagree with you.

So unless there's two things that are going to be announced this week it's safe to assume that more will come by the end of the 13th OR this "announcement" was a happy coincidence that Paul got news of last night, he Tweeted it but the original big news (from http://twitter.com/bunyan71/status/13587772782) is still to come by the end of the week.

My guess is to wait and see what happens; no way would Paul tweet about "big news" coming 4 days ago and be able to predict “Not Afraid” debut position in the Billboard chart

EDIT: Oh and that Tweet was 2am Detroit Time on the 12th which could point to the "announcement" being on the 13th.

I predicted NA will decrease fast, which it is already, look at the popbar in iTunes thread for proof
I also said 90% it would be #1 this week, no surprises

Haven't seen any of the other predictions, except that it would be number on on BB, which was really obvious. The problem is that you have "predicted" and even said that NA is decreasing fast more then 20 times in the Itunes thread. And that's not predicting, it's saying something a lot of times until it happends.
