Why did NA debut at number 1?

So this is something i just don't get. Crack A Bottle sold more than Not Afraid in it's first week but it didn't debut at #1. Not Afraid sells nothing close to Right Round but right round didn't debut at #1. Not Afraid has no airplay compared to these two songs, so why exactly did it become the 16-th song to debut at #1???

Chart rankings are based on radio play and sales; the tracking-week for sales begins on Monday and ends on Sunday, while the radio play tracking-week runs from Wednesday to Tuesday. A new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by Billboard on Thursday. Each chart is dated with the "week-ending" date of the Saturday two weeks after.

Example:
* Monday, January 1 – sales tracking-week begins
* Wednesday, January 3 – airplay tracking-week begins
* Sunday, January 7 – sales tracking-week ends
* Tuesday, January 9 – airplay tracking-week ends
* Thursday, January 11 – new chart released, with issue date of Saturday, January 20.

Not Afraid was released
Released April 29, 2010 (radio)
May 3, 2010 (digital)
May 11, 2010 (CD Single)

Hence the song is number 1 for the week of May 22 as he out performed any single that week

CAB actually got massive radio play for about a week when it came out cuz of the whole 3 headed monster thing...thats why it had the chance to debut on hot 100 before it was released on itunes. It debuted close to 100, so it just barely made it before itunes sales put it at #1
