I'd Have To Say I Like The Promo 4 RELAPSE Better..So Far

I mean by this time b4 the release of Relapse we already had 2 singles and 1 or 2 videos(Cant exactly remember when 3am vid was released) and i think the album cover(released exactly 4 weeks b4 Relapse)..and for Recovery so far all we have is 1 slow, boring but good single and a list of the producers..not really anything that makes you wanna say YES RECOVERY!...Don't get me wrong im still excited as F*** just everyone thought the promo for Relapse was bad but it's lookin like this promo is even worse unless they pick up the pace veryyy soon otherwise the album will leak b4 they get to promote it really well(considering its only next week and the week after until were in the week of the leak)..idk just my opinion

Airplanes part 2,then Despicable a few days before Not afraid.

I think the the quality of songs is better and more people are feeling these songs so i think the promo for this is album is better.

Are you kidding? The promo for Relapse was awful. This seems a lot better so far. The Despicable freestyle had the internet buzzing, the lead single Not Afraid is 100x better than We Made You, and it also had a #1 debut on iTunes which is huge promo in itself. Plus the Drop The World, Forever and more recently Airplanes II verses have created a huge buzz and load of anticipation for his new album. Also the smaller things like announcement of concerts with Jay Z and exposure on national TV have kept him in the spotlight, as well as the buzz about Slaughterhouse coming to Shady. And there's still a month to go before the official release so there's much more to come. Just wait til the album cover/tracklist comes out....

okay..1 week off and i dont see the cover coming next week so..either way there was still wayyyy more promo for Relapse at this point then there is for Recovery.


and honestly i would have rather had a song like We Made You..Not Afraid is great and all but it's not really something you can listen to alot..plays itself out so quick bc its so simple..at least We Made You was upbeat and tricky and 3am was dark and twisted and CAB was laid back to ride to.all we have now is boring Not Afraid.but to each their own.The only thing i really feel about Recovery right now is Em's verses are gonna be nasty but its gonna be PACKED with features..which IMO i dont like.

The difference is that Relapse needed promotion since it was a comeback album from 5 years of hiatus. I wouldn't be surprised if Not afraid is the only single we'll see before the release - probably depends on how well it does commercially when the video is released.

Thats exactly what I was thinking and it sucks bc to me thats not the song Em should be using to push his album..if thats the case my anticipation goes right down the drain for this cd..Em is suppose to be the a**hole/basher that we all love bc he has the voice to say the stuff that we all cant..it almost seems like he's "Soft" and a sellout now if it wasnt for that "Despicable" freestyle i'd almost have no hope for this cd but..IDK only time will tell
