This is a verse I recorded on my first try because my brother got home and I couldn't record anymore. This is my first verse so any and all help is appreciated. I always return feed.

I cant say much about this because there was only 1 take..& it wasn't mixed too well
my advice would be....do overdubs...overlays...what ever they are called
they will make you love recording vocals even more :y:

it's as simple as leaving the beat on track 1
one set of vocals on take 2
then you record another set on take 3

overdubbing is the most important element of making quality tracks. it gives your vocals some depth.

imo you sound bored with the delivery, like you wanna sound nice but your so worried about it it holds you back. you kinda slur your words when your trying to make the snare.

touch up on those things. and feeeel your lyrics

well the flow is not bad at all, couldn't hear much from what you were saying though.. and I think you should put more feeling and heat when you spit on the mic, that way you'll have more presence on the track
