I was really surprise when i saw that the bigger part of you chose the second one!!!
Personnaly i like the first one, it's samle and clear!!! It shows the long way that he has to do for recovering!!!! It bring me back to the 8 mile days!!
The second one is a quinda wierd to me!!! I don't know how exactly ot "get" it. Sitting in this box with a interior of a room a front of a big towers.... idk i don't feel it, it makes a lil more sense to me!!!!

and i like the second better, because it is more complex and has a lot of behind the scene/image metaphors. Similar to his rap style.
