What would 27-year-old Eminem think of 37-year-old Eminem?

I don't think he'd be too disappointed. I mean, his lyrical ability has undoubtedly progressed (and I hope it continues to). And he still is very real, and very open/honest when he writes. He never holds anything back, and he's still viscous.

He really hasn't changed that much. Just his style.

Is it me or do Eminem fans seem to only be using the term "double-time flow" since he used it himself in the Complex interview?

Anyway, I honestly think if MMLP Eminem heard Not Afraid he'd cringe. If he heard Relapse he'd think, "Don't know about that ridiculous accent but the rhymes are dope."

It's almost like he's talking to his later self in I Remember: "But then you went and took your style and switched the shit, now you sound ridiculous."

Any number of observations can be pulled out of the air.

But no I think a younger Em would cringe at a track like "Taking my ball" or "We Made You" or even "crack a bottle" coming from his old self.

I'm sure this album will dissapoint alot of folks cause there use to that sort of thing, but whatever, Em had the longest and most succesful Hot Streak in Rap, His legacy is secured so If he wants to Grow up and Mature now, he has that right, I actually respect him more for it

I expect Recovery to be his lowest selling album cause he went straight against the grain with it and did something 80% of his fans dont want him to do..........Takes balls(or alot of financial security)
