why did Jay put Em on Blueprint? same reason Em put Wayne on, he's the hottest out right now.

I don't think Em chose Lil wayne cus he's popular. He said months ago that he thinks he is dope. If he wanted someone just because of their popularity he could have picked Flo Rida or someone else in that category.

I'm not a fan of Wayne but he had a fucking crazy rhyme on Distant Relatives; He made better and mirror rhyme by bending them in a way only he can do (due to his voice). Thumbs up.

To be honest; I'm just glad that there aren't 100 different collabs on the album, and I don't really have a problem with any of the featured artists (yet ;)). If wayne's verse is hot then I don't care about what he has done in the past. It is all about contributing to the album!

Instead of moaning about Pink and Rihanna, people should just be glad that he has chosen two damn good singers who both will atract new listeners at the same time. Only very close-minded people will deny that they are talented.

And the reason he had all the buzz iiisssssssssssss

because a lot of people like him and wanted the album....You dont create buzz if nobody gives a shit about your music. Come on now man. You create buzz if your music is wanted by a lot of people.

And he wasnt all over the radio and tv at that point. He didnt start getting all over the tv and radio until lollipop came out, as a C3 single....

So all that buzz he created was simply from mixtapes and shit....it was a street buzz that reflected in sales.

I'm not surprised wayne is on Recovery.. As i said before DTW was VERY well done :y: on both accounts; Wayne sounded very good and Em just killed it.

To the idiot who said Wayne was the hottest of all time.. your just a fuckin idiot, i admit he was probably the hottest last year but RIGHT NOW the hottest would probably goto Drake, Kanye, T.I, in my opinion Em should have put the T.I track on the album aswell.. Hopefully theres a bonus disk also

These collabs he's doing is for big numbers in sales and its a wise choice, he'll be making the a milli song this time :worship:

And it wouldn't surprise me if the next single released/leaked is the track with Pink or Rihanna, my guess is the Rihanna track :y:

I dont think this album is gunna sell a million in the first week. Obviously it will eventually....But def. not the first week. This album his pretty much NO buzz on the streets. Just on the internet.

I remember with C3, there wasnt really anybody that didnt know that album was comin out.

Although, I just heard Not Afraid on the radio here in MN 2 night ago. That was cool.

The reason issssssssssssssss he made 4532 mixtapes and jumped on every feature going.

He has 1 no.1 album in over 10 years he is not the biggest rapper of all time or anywhere near it.

Ok, He has one number 1 album BUT

If any of those mixtapes were to have been sold in stores while he was all over the place a couple years ago...He would have 5 more albums that sold just as well.

A few of his mixtapes , like the ones I listed, are better hip hop records then a lot of the shit that IS being sold in stores now-days. Shit, I can think of 7 lil wayne mixtapes that were ten times better than encore....

Wayne is dope. Get over it.

Your talkin like the way to sell a million records and create buzz is to jump on features and make mixtapes. No buddy.

lol stop arguing over the same shit over and over

you know what would make this No Love track even more epic?
thats if Em and Wayne each did a verse and then the third verse they traded 2 bars each back to back to back and so on for the other 16-24

and since they were in studio together rather than emailing each other, that makes it seem like a good possibility imo

Wayne can be good when he wants to be. and he wanted to be when he did Carter II. honestly i have no worries about this song despite how awful Wayne has been lately.

Norway kills wrote:Excacly why did Eminem choose that the one rapper to feature on his album, had to be Lil Wayne? I guess most rappers out there, including T.I. and Jay-Z, would have done a verse or two with Eminem, so why did he choose the autotune king? Lil Wayne may be popular, but not in the inner rap circle. The real rap fans, fans of Eminem, dislike Wayne! He may reach another #1 on Billboard, but is it worth it for letting down the very genre of rap?

Tell me why!

God damn you're stupid. You mean the real Eminem stans(such as yourself) dislike lil wayne. You can be a real fan of Em and like other rappers too.

RealSickLindley wrote:I think people need to let the competition go.. Waynes sick with it as much as Em is, both can be world beaters, both have gone through annoying phases.

IMO, Tha Carter 2>MMLP but ES>any of Waynes albums..

So even though i think Ems better, i don't need to hate, i can realise who has put out classics and who can kill it apart from our God lol

They'll kill it, Wayne will raise his game from DTW, he had the content on that, but when he's doing his rap thing on Recovery, he'll have the flow too.

Exactly.
