As The Leak Approaches...

Well I guess we're now down to the final days before the Recovery leak. This is finally it, what we've all spent months waiting for - speculating, guessing, predicting. Days and days of waiting to hear some news about Eminem's next album, only to be disappointed by weeks and weeks of silence. Googling, youtubing, twittering, looking for anything we could to latch onto. Stories come and gone - from the initial concept of 'Relapse 2', to the 'confirmed' tracks like 'Insult To Injury'. From speculated guest appearances like Royce, D12 and even Lady Gaga to the confirmation of the final tracklist we received last week. it's all about to come to a head. The time is finally nearly up and the wait is finally almost over.

With this being said, what are your last thoughts/hopes for Recovery as the leak waits around the corner? What do you want it to be? What kind of songs do you want it to have? Personally, I'm just hoping that the outcome matches the anticipation that's been generated for this album. All the stuff he has done since Relapse has been brilliant, in my eyes - his Airplanes II verse still gives me goosebumps. So I hope that what he has on Recovery can at least match what he has come out with in the past year. I'm hoping for something that has the cutting-edge factor of the Marshall Mathers LP but also has the storytelling integrity of The Eminem Show.

I believe this could well be Eminem's most important album. If he can't produce a classic this time around then he never will again. But if he can, then he could well go down as the greatest of all time. What do you guys think?

I've decided to leave myself as a blank slate. He has gone through an huge transformation. So instead of hoping the album matches what I'm looking for -- I'm going to take it for what it is, and hopefully I get that same feeling I got when I sat in my car and listened to MMLP/TES for the first time.
