After skimming through peoples comments, i am hitting my head against the wall.

First off, this is a crazy song. Eminem stepped out of his zone and used punchlines and metaphors instead of relying on flow and story telling. Truthfully they were sick, if you listen to em over and over he kills it.

Secondly, Eminem said he wanted to focus on making more deep songs, BUT there would be straight spitting on it as well which this is.

If you dont like the lyrics, Id be willing to bet they are going over your head, they're all metaphors and punchlines you need to read between the lines or be aware of what he is saying.

At first listen, I couldn't stand this song, but now it is starting to be pretty catchy. Some of the lyrics are just sick. Does anyone else think em's vocals in not afraid and now wont back down are hard to hear or not very well edited?

the songs ok for me, the beat is heavy and slim still does word magic, but...

it's absolutely meaningless, and seemingly random where the hook almost doesn't make sense, and...

he's not really flowing on beats the way he used to, he used to be smooth with that "wet" flow but now he's almost always intricate and there's times when shit's void of rhyme patterns, really random/sporadic rhyming, and there are times when he's not really rhyming at all...though maybe i just can't comprehend

Eminem's anger in this track just comes off as forced. He's really not saying anything, again. When he brought his anger out on the MMLP, it was legit. You could feel it because he was going through everything he said. Not here. This is a throw away track. Random nonsense, and slow the fuck down.

Why even do this? What is the point? Eminem wants to prove he's a great punchline rapper? Well, he failed. His punchlines are horrid and he's proving the opposite point.

His flow has been creeping more and more back toward his later pill-era flow...predictable and monotonous and boring. He just rides the beat the same way every other shitty rapper does. And his voice is annoying right now, IMO...not enjoyable like it was on the non-accent tracks on Relapse and a couple of the post-Relapse releases.

This is just a filler track. Or is it? What if this is all he has?

ok heres what im going to say. yes this wasnt as good as not afraid. that doesnt mean it sucks. its better than every song off drakes album. its better than every song off rebirth(except mabey dtw lol). its better than every song of ross' lp. i think its better than most of the songs off fuck a mixtape and be3. its not like this song is completely awful. we're just used to such a high standard of music. these arent bad rhymes:
