I think that em is best when he is 'inspired' by his anger, rather than 'forced' in thinking how to come up with a song to get popular in other areas of music, such as pop or rock.
I think that this isn't his original style....I am expecting a classic album after that nonsense album -Relapse. Having heard only 2 songs from Recovery, one which I really liked and another which I really hated, I am still (although a little bit less) looking forward for the upcoming album.
One thing which I am sure about...if he comes up with another shitty album like Relapse, I will consider em as the best rapper in the world who ruined his reputation as a rapper at the end of his carrier. But this is only how I will look at em - this doesn't mean that everyone should agree

Drucifer wrote:Em is just a victim of his success at this point..........Too many people watching want to many diffrent things, I read a comment where someone said "Not Afraid" was Em's original Style, which makes no sense to me at all............If you notice around the internet, not just Em sites, the people who love this song are the ones who hated "Not Afraid", and the ones who liked "Not Afraid" are the ones who hate "Wont Back Down"
End result???.............Somebodies gonne be left complaining regardless, personally I'm in the first category, Not Afraid got old to me real quick, mainly cause of the beat and the hook, but this and despicable stay on the playlist

RealSickLindley wrote:Lmao at people getting mad just because Em got a real singer on the hook instead of forcing it himself, and actually being on a beat that bangs, as well as there being lyrical content.
Honestly guys, it might not appeal to you. But don't say that he's sold out just because he fancies being on a beat that basically makes love to your speakers.
