Eminem never disappointed us before Encore

Because people nitpick every single thing he does now, when 10 years ago people couldn't stop dick-riding him. There are many faults to his 'classic' songs too, people just didn't point them out back then.

that is the difference now. IN Relapse, yea sure some of it was good but lots of us were disappointed. all of us were with Encore. And even with Recovery, some of us are disappointed. In the Slim Shady LP, nobody complained. He shocked all of us. MMLP, same thing. Nobody can say anything about that one. TES, he showed variety and then all of a sudden #1 hit Lose Yourself and a classic film, 8 mile. But then after that, he couldn't make an album where the world shuts up. Now he is very good at disappointing some of us. Why can't he just go back to being able to satisfy everyone?

For the record, Em had alot of haters on his first 2 albums to, its NEVER POSSIBLE to please everybody, no one ever has, and no one ever will........Anybody who has ever done anything succesfully has had critics, its the way the world works

I remember that.

As a matter of fact my brother was a teen when the MMLP & SSLP came out. He had large group of friends who were also huge fans. So when TES came out with tracks such as without me & superman as it's singles, there was a massive uproar of disappointment.

Imagine going from stan/way I am to without me/superman.

Obviously we are used to Em's diversity now... but man, what a shock that must of been. Espcially at that time when Em was the biggest artist on the scene.
