They're not--My Name Is is LIGHT YEARS better.

My Name Is doesn't feature corny punchlines galore...it's actually clever and funny.

Eminem doesn't like it because, in his words, he was "running behind the beat." He had some trouble adjusting to Dre's beats at first, which is why he wasn't satisfied with SSLP (the 3 songs he did with Dre being the ones he was disappointed with).

Reality is...his flow's fine on those. It wasn't the monotonous, predictable, boring flow he's using on Won't Back Down...flowing the exact same way everybody else does...stiff beat riding.

Some idiot must have changed Eminem's mind about what "good flow" is at some point, because he was initially proud as fuck of the songs he did back then. Then someone came along and went, "Yo, dat ain't flow right...you gots to mirror da drums over and over again da exact same way every single bar, putting a syllable on each one...or it ain't good!"

Like others, I agree with you somewhat. It's 4 1/2 minutes of random punchlines and a Pink chorus what doesn't fit. Take it for what it is. But is is CD quality? No.
