Hang on, so what you're saying is, that I click "manually manage music" on the iTunes on my home PC, and this will enable me to put new music onto my iPod from a DIFFERENT iTunes from a different PC (ie one that I find in an internet cafe) WITHOUT losing the music I currently have on my iPod?
Have I got that right??

What about the iTunes that I download on the PC abroad - do I need to set that to "manually manage" too??

HereHere wrote:Do it at home, it should save the settings. When you plug it into the other PC, you'd be best to double check it anyway, but it should still be set to manual.

Oh OK, so basically those settings will save into the actual iPod itself, and not just iTunes? If so, then I understand how it would work.
