Just listened to it again today, and I have to say that it's the shit.

It's almost like...at first, you don't catch a lot of it, because there's so much going on. Then, you start to catch things, here and there. Before you know it, you've got most of it memorized, and you're still catching punchlines, and the whole song comes together.

Great song. One of the most interesting Em songs released in years, for me.

I'm not going to be so negative about it as last time, listened to it a bit more now. The chorus is all right, maybe a bit too simple and short. Eminem sometimes sounds a bit annoying.

Personally I would be happy if Em never said shit or fuck again. He has the whole dictionary at his disposal and he can also write infinitely more creative and credible songs than Wont Back Down... He totally doesnt need to go for shock value punchlines and weak metaphors either... Next time, how about a song with an actual concept, sustainable rhythm pattern and a message. I'm not complaining too much coz I know this track will be a break from the regular tracks on Recovery

See, the problem with WBD is that it doesn't have any redeeming qualities. Like the dude said, the beat is something straight outta Rebirth, the Pink chorus doesn't add anything to the song, and Em's verses are just punchlines after punchlines that don't make anything cohesive.

At least with the "bad" R1 songs there was at least one redeeming quality, be it the beat, the chorus, or some funny lines. This song doesn't have any of that.
