Many Producers=Bad Idea

Postby GenePeer » Jun 6th, '10, 20:23

I'm starting to think that Eminem working with new producers wasn't such a good idea. Eventhough i like Not Afraid, i gotta admit that beat sounds too generic. And the Won't Back Down beats? weird is the only word i can think of. How's someone supposed to "rhyme their lines with rhythym" on that? I also don't like the idea of other people having used the beat before Eminem. Maybe I'm being paranoid or something... But i'm still hopeful esp. the Jim Jonsin+Just Blaze songs.

PS: all the snippets are just beats bcoz of this  :tounge2:

I think more producers is better because the album will be full of different sounds instead of one type of sound like on Relapse

Yea, I'm hoping we get at least one more album with him producing the majority (if not all) of it before he retires.

i blame the single sound on Relapse on Dre. He just wasn't feeling creative enough for different moods. Actually now that i think of it, he should have just stuck with the Bass Brothers. They practically did the whole Slim shady LP and half of Marshall Mathers LP and never did it sound repetitive. But lemme just clarify, i'm not whining about the many producers. I expect this to be one of his best albums like he said just thinking it was risky to go for many producers

Who, me? :confusion:

I didn't really go much on the Not Afraid beat first time I heard it, it grew on me I guess same goes for Won't Back Down. But I prefer the Not Afraid beat over the Won't Back Down one...

The only problem I see with the WBD beat is that it's too loud, other than that I love it. It's weird, but good.
I'm glad Em is doing something different, rather than the usual stuff.
