I like the majority of his catalog. I can't really say that about many rappers. Even the stuff he never put on a cd I like. I will say I probably like 85-90% of the stuff he has made, that's pretty rare to me.

-He's able to switch up his style/flow/voice however he wants so he's not limited to one specific sub-genre of rap. He's kind of like Pac, he's good at; emotional shit, clubbangers, disses, motivational tracks, and just straight up murdering beats.
-The way he keeps it real in his music and doesn't let his income affect his music.
-High replay value for most of his songs. Doesn't just talk about the year of his cars or the names of materialistic things that will be irrelevant years from now.
-He understands that hip-hop should be focused on lyrics.
-All of his albums are above average if not classic.
-Came up from nothing to being the biggest selling artist of the decade.

It's hard to say best cause there's so many talented rappers out there, theres certain categories that different rappers excel at so there's too many factors in deciding the best but obviously everyone has the right to have an opinion. The title should just be "Why is Eminem your Favorite Rapper" instead of "Best Rapper" since opinion can't be fact.
