Ja Rule’s Court Date Set For August

Ja Rule will finally have his day in court this summer. Yesterday, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Richard Carruthers set the rappers trial date for August 18th. Rule is facing three years in prison on a 2007 weapons charge. He was also denied a pretrial hearing based on DNA evidence.
