I love relapse and i love recovery. Both very different albums. Relapse was a concept album as such , told a great wee story. I can still go back and listen to relapse from start to finish, i do love it. Relapse is something no rapper today would have the guts or ability to do.

Picture the likes of Lil Wayne, Jay Z , Drake and Kanye releasing an album and having songs talking about rapping and killing people :P it just wouldn't happen and if he did it would go no where. Were never going to see an album like relapse again, unless eminem decides to make a part 2 to it, which in all honestly i would mind. Its quite obvious he had fun recording and writing the album. Its just a shame hes been "forced" to admit it wasn't up to par. If no-one complained about it, he wouldn't of called it "ehhh" as he called it.

I feel quite sorry for him really.

But ya, You cant compare either of them, both great albums but both so very different

If you're going to do this at least order your favorites of relapse vs your favorites of recovery doing them in the album order makes no sense.

I dont think we should compare relapse to recovery. Differant subject matter in each, and as eminem has said he was flushing out drugs, getting back into the groove. Everything hes put out or been in since relapse has been differant from anything on there. Like Airplanes, DTW, Forever, and recovery. Its all differant than relapse

I share the OP's opinion, I'm just happy that recovery > encore. The fact that eminem keeps saying relapse, an album I loved, is shit on recovery just makes me like the album even less.
