Anyone notice how the first song on Recovery...

Is a misogynistic, celebrity-bashing, surreal, immature Shady song with a fucking ACCENT in the hook? If you think about it, this song was a perfect fit for Relapse.

I'm not saying this complaining. I love Cold Wind Blows. I just wonder if Em intentionally made this the first track to piss people off and worry them that the entire album was gonna be like that.

If so, I think it worked. I remember being here when the album leak was first posted, and the first thing a bunch of people were saying as they just started to listen and heard only the first song... "Man I don't dig Cold Wind Blows, I don't dig the chorus, blah blah blah." And now that we've all heard the full album, the general consensus is that CWB is a dope track. Could it be that Em worried some of you at first that the entire album was gonna be similar, hence the initial disapproving reactions?

Same, I like that hook. And I feel that this song along w/ the couple obvious Shady songs on Recovery are the way he used to do Shady, crazy, psychotic, not murderous like he had done for 2009.
