Postby GEMATRIA12 » Jun 11th, '10, 00:18

But i was listening to Talkin 2 myself, for like the 20 th time, and then it hit me suddenly,

Em Almost Died!

what on earth would've happened???
and it would've been out of the blue too,
i mean at that time we didnt hear anything about him really,

i cant even imagine!!!

anyway it shook me up a little, had to vent.

For me personally it'd hit hard. Just being honest even if it sounds homo. Dude was like my guiding light as a teenager :b:.

As far as public response goes, I think in America and a few other places it'd be similar to MJ. Worldwide it wouldn't be as big as Mike but that's an unfair comparison. Bottom line is that Em is the most iconic rapper of all-time. You can argue all day about who the best MC is but there really shouldn't be any debate about who's the biggest.

The most important part, of course, is how it'd hit his girls. That was probably his biggest motivation to get back on his feet :y:.
Caution to the wind, complete freedom. Look at these rappers, how I treat 'em, so why the fuck would I join 'em when I beat 'em?

Cause the shit I hear is crazy
But your either getting lazy or you don't believe in you no more
Seems like your own opinions, not one you can form
Cant make a decision you keep questioning yourself
Second guessing and its almost like your begging for my help

I'd be more upset if he died now, than then. Even though I was fan then, I've got much more into him since his comeback. Basically listening to unreleased tracks and stuff in the last 2 years. Before, I just had his albums.

that being said, give it time. if em died 15 years from now, yeah the world might have stopped spining, is why he had a big impact. cause todays older generation still loved mj. if mj would have died in the early 90s people would have slept on it or not made a big deal. but as time passes, one legend status increases. same for johnny cash, i remember when he died, it was on every tv channel for months, and radios wouldnt stop playing his shit. give em more, time and im sure he'll make the earth stop :y:

Same. I've listened to so much of his music lately, I stopped listening to him for a while and when I found out he was coming back I found so many old songs I didn't even know existed.
