I kinda agree. Whilst I'm not a huge fan of Relapse, I think it was mainly cause it wasn't a great 'comeback' album. Now that we have Recovery, Relapse might be more respected as a sort of concept album.

i liked relapse when it dropped. dont know why everyone bare hates Encore i mean it is the worst album he put out but mockingbird toy soilders love you more we as americans yellow brick road are all good songs not lyrically the best anyways

With the tracks that leaked on Encore (Ricky Ticky Tock and We As Americans and whatever) on the album, and the replacement tracks (I think Big Weenie, Ass Like That and some other junk track) off the album, Encore goes way, way, way up in stature.

Its a shame that happened. I think Encore is good, recorded when Em was in his right mind.. but the leaks happened, and he made those 3 or 4 replacement tracks when he was shit-piss-fucked up on drugs.

I agree. It's hard cause I refuse to listen to any songs not from recovery at this point, but yeah I feel the same, especially the whole idea of a concept album
