Melatonin Magik is better

No way man. I liked Melatonin Magik.

But Bis is spitting near the same shit over every other song. He also spits a lot of babble. It's a very consistent album though, every track is great.

BUT, it's nowhere near Recovery. For an album to be that great, you gotta have the whole package. All Melatonin has is a lot of spitting and pretty much in one zone. Recovery man, it's so diverse, you got a range of flows, styles, hooks, experimental ideas.

Melatonin isn't as entertaining, musical or lyrical as Recovery. Some may think it is because Canibus raps a lot of pretentious lyrics cramming as much terminology in as possible. But Em could do that shit easily too. A lot harder to make constant and consistent sense, string everything together and have non-stop metaphors, similes, concepts, ideas, irony and humour.

And the songs are more powerful. And better constructed. Bis is no Eminem.
