Eminem WAS jealous of the attention Wayne was getting. Wayne went through that stage around Carter 3 when everyone was talking about him and that is what Em was jealous of, nothing more. Plus even if Eminem was jealous of the guy, the way Eminem talks about it it doesn't make Wayne good. The way he describes it he was basically a wreck and he had sunken as low as getting jealous of people getting attention.
