Drake's Thank Me Later to sell 425-475k

Drake’s debut full-length studio album “Thank Me Later,” which was released on Tuesday (June 15), is projected to sell in the range of 425,000 to 475,000 — if not more — by week’s end on June 20. If it moves as much as sources think, it’ll mark one of the biggest sales weeks of the year for a single album.

Great numbers but I don't know how accurate this is, I'll still wait for Hitsdailydouble. If it's true, TML is doing better than I thought (400k was my prediction) and it could sell as much as The Blueprint 3 (476k).

That's way too much, so much more than I would have thought. I was expecting under 200k. I thought he had less buzz now than what he used to and that his single hadn't had the success he wanted. Singles are extremely important nowadays. For a debut album, it's shitloads of sales, really suprised to be honest.

Wow. This is surprising. I actually went and bought the album this morning. I admit that Drake is nothing special. But he does make some good car jams that I enjoy. Kind of a guilty pleasure for me.

If my friend was a major artist, I'd buy tons of copies of his debut, too. The label usually only purchases the album when it's close to being platinum in the first week.

Alot of the time the predictors are off. i say 525k

Well, they say that Billboard predicts the 425-475 number but I can't find it on billboard.com, so who knows. Could be real, could be fake.
